I am currently beginning construction of a
of a
to burn coal and run on 4-3/4" gauge track. The completed locomotive will be approximately six feet long. So far I've been working on the tender - sort of starting at the back and working forward!
My sources are plans from a friend who wishes to remain anonymous, a photo of the bottom of a wrecked tender (Pictorial Supplement, p. 130) and photos of the rears of two tenders (Colorado Rail Annual #12, p. 101).
